Some of my features:
- Sensor fallback - modifying robot controls and providing driver feedback in the scenarior that some sensors disconnect or provide invalid inputs.
- WindupXboxController, a class extending an existing class to add custom functionality in integrating joysticks into the codebase controlling the robot.
- Temporary test autos, designed to be run in the pit, allowing for systems checks without a skilled driver.
W8 Library
W8 stands for: What Will Windham Windup Wield to Win Week One/Won?
Since its inception in 2024, the W8 Library is a robot code template to accelerate our in-season development process, allowing us to focus more on game and robot-specific features.
Some of my features:
- Automatic path generation for future robots to follow
- Servo motor boilerplate code, to make it easy for us to integrate servo motors for lightweight applications.
- Unit testing for mechanisms - in progress
